This service addresses the hormonal decline seen in women in menopause & men in andropause. Individual and tailored doses of hormones are used based on personal history, baseline lab work and symptoms.

Menopause is defined as 12 months without a menses/period & low hormonal levels documented on blood test. And all women are required to have annual normal mammograms/ thermograms.

Men at any age can begin to see significant decline in testosterone levels for many reasons. ( high stress, obesity, poor diet, medications like antidepressants, blood pressure & statins, testicular surgery, high physical activity) Dr. DiRenzo always checks baseline labs at initial consult.

A detailed history is obtained to make sure there are no contraindications to hormonal therapy such as history of cancer or blood clots.
